Dr. Brittany Bowsher - known lovingly by clients and staff as “Dr. B” - leads the medical team at Bayview Animal Hospital with compassion, expertise, and heart. A proud graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis, she brings an island-inspired warmth to her work and a deep appreciation for coastal living.

Originally from Springfield, Ohio, Dr. B knew from an early age that she was meant to care for animals. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University and began her career as a licensed veterinary technician before pursuing her veterinary degree.

Recently stepping into the role of Managing Veterinarian, Dr. B is excited to lead Bayview into its next chapter - guided by a commitment to excellent care and genuine connection. She feels fortunate to work alongside a talented team of doctors and staff, including Dr. Thomas, Dr. Jake and Dr. Hering, whose camaraderie and dedication are integral to the strong rapport Bayview shares with its clients and patients.

Known for her calm presence and thoughtful approach, Dr. B builds meaningful relationships with every pet and person who walks through the door. Her goal is to make every visit as comfortable and positive as possible.

Outside the hospital, she enjoys walking her dog Gus, going for a run, catching a game, or reading by the beach. She’s proud to call Fort Lauderdale home and honored to care for the pets of this vibrant community.
