Dr Phillips graduated from the worlds' leading veterinary school, the 'Royal Veterinary College', London, in 2007.  Following vet school, she completed a surgical internship at Northwest Surgeons, England, then went on to gain a surgical certificate.

Dr Phillips spent time working in both general practice and referral in England, as well as acting as an expert witness for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. 

In need of some sunshine, Dr Phillips and her husband moved to Florida.  Her journey in Florida started as a veterinarian for a large corporation, followed by Chief of Staff, and then Medical Director, overseeing all clinics on the Florida East Coast, to ensure their veterinary excellence, and support and develop 72 doctors.

However, Dr Phillips' love for the animal and human bond, and the desire to practice again, took her back to practicing high level surgery in multiple practices across Florida.

Finally, wanting to establish more long-life relationships with people and their pets, and to work with a team where exceptional veterinary care could be provided, Dr Phillips recently joined Bayview Animal Hospital as the Managing DVM.

Her golden retriever, 'Missy', often accompanies Dr Phillips to work, and ensures all pets are greeted with a smile!

When not at work, Dr Philips loves spending time with her husband and two daughters doing any activity that involves the ocean.
